When you arrive at the Airport be very careful when turning on your Data as you might pick up Turkey who are not in the EU and you will be CHARGED by your network provider. We advise wait until you are officially out of the airport to then connect your data.

Can I use my provider in Rhodes?
Three UK - If you are a pay monthly customer you can now ADD ROAMING with your contract and you will have up to 12gb Data for the month, if not then it is £2 a day or you can now buy an add on within the Three App - Three UK Pay as you go will allow you to use up to 12gb (if data pack is activated for the month and allows up to 12gb at no extra cost) Pay monthly users before 1st October 2021 still have roaming up to 12gb no charges unless you have upgraded). Vodafone - If you pay for ROAMING with your contract you will have up to 25gb Data fair use policy, if not then it is £2 a day and then £1 a day from day 8 to 15 with a pass.(Vodafone Pay Monthly plans that started before 11 August 2021, there are no changes to roaming on your plan unless you have upgraded) A Pay as you go customer must have an active Vodafone Pay as you go tariff in order to purchase a European Roaming Extra please check with provider. So your data (subject to roaming limit), minutes and text allowances will work in our Europe Zone, just like they do at home. If you do run out of data and go over you could be charged high prices per MB please make sure when you land and recieve your welcome texts to check the costs it states. Of course you can turn off your mbile data and use WIFI throughout your stay and be connected still and not be charged. If you needed to make an phone call then use such applications as WHATSAPP or Messenger to do an wifi call/video call.

If you have any experience it is not working then best to check any spend caps on your account or while you are in resort, connect to wifi and go to your providers webchat team, they will be able to help and get you connected.
The above temperatures are IN THE SHADE so you can add a few more degrees to each average. The above is just a rough guide – we have had rain and storms in June, and August temperatures in April!
You are more likely to experience showers or cloud during May, June, September and October although these tend to be fleeting and the temperature remains warm.

The sea here in resort is extremely clean and the beach is sandy and has a low slope gradient making swimming conditions perfect.
Please be aware that there are no life guards on any of the beaches in Pefkos.
Again, this is down to personal preference. Almost certainly in July and August you will need AC. However some people prefer to open windows or use a fan if provided. It is unlikely that you will need AC in May or October as the weather is much more bearable and we experience some breezes which help to cool things down.
