I first visited Pefkos in 2006 and each subsequent year, following a recommendation from my Parents who also love the resort. In 2009, I was made redundant from my job and decided to take 6 months “out” and packed a bag and headed to Pefkos. I managed to find a waitressing job at the beautiful Philosophia Beach Taverna where I met my now husband, who was (and still is) the Chef.
I became a member of Friend of Pefkos (FB) in 2008 when the group was less than 500 members and when help was requested to run the group, I was happy to get involved. I’m so proud to be a founding member of the group and to watch it grow from a small community to a large supportive group who have achieved so much in the last 12 years.
The Group has allowed me to give back to the community of Pefkos who opened their home to me and quite literally changed my life. The Group and my relationship with my wonderful co-admin, has very much become part of my daily life and I look forward to evolving and growing our community whilst staying true to the Friends of Pefkos ethos.
Victoria
I first came to pefkos in 1987 when I was 6 on an allocation on arrival holiday with my parents. We fell in love with the place and the people and have visited every year at least twice ever since.
In 2004 I decided to quit my jobs in uk and move to Pefkos to be a rep with cosmos then Olympic.
I also worked in Wild West bar and ran a clothing store. I returned to the uk in 2007 to work in travel there.
I was a moderator on the original friends of Pefkos page from 2003. When Helen was pregnant with her daughter I volunteered to assist with admin on the Facebook group and we’ve been a team ever since.
I’m very proud to be admin on such a popular Pefkos page, help all the businesses and share my knowledge and love of the resort with our members.

I have been coming to Pefkos since 2001 on holiday, I actually then decided to work in Greece for 4 summers.
I have worked at many different bars and hotels and even worked for Olympic Holidays as a holiday rep too. I have still been coming out to Pefkos every year since 2001!
In 2020, I approached Helen & Victoria to ask if I could host weekly Quizzes & Bingo events and much more whilst we were in Lockdown, to try and entertain everyone whilst waiting to be able to travel again! We originally started the Quizzes & bingo events where members would donate £5 and we would then give the money to charities in Pefkos and also the NHS here in the UK.
After a few months, Helen & Victoria asked me to join the team as a moderator and then within a few more months I was asked to become Admin, I could not be more grateful to join such an amazing team and I honestly love trying to help as many members as I can. We all have the same passion and that is that we all

GROUP EXPERT IN DESTINATION WEDDINGS
I first came to Pefkos in 2004 as a holiday rep for First Choice. I met my now husband Nikos 2005 and moved to Rhodes full time in the Winter of 2006. I have been working as a Wedding Planner on the Island since 2006, initially for First Choice, then Tui and since 2011 for Aeonian Nisos group of Hotels, incorporating Guest Relations. I live in Lardos which is just outside of Pefkos and have been a holiday rep and planned weddings all over the Island of Rhodes. Living here as a permanent Resident gives me great insight and local knowledge to offer to members of the Group. I love the sociable side to my job and am always happy to enjoy a glass or Prosecco (or two) with guests and wedding couples.

GROUP EXPERT IN TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY
I first discovered Pefkos by chance in 2008 and instantly fell in love with the place, and have returned at least once every year since then, with the exception of 2020 due to the pandemic.
In 2012 I convinced my parents to come to Greece for the first time and now they are Pefkos regulars after previously never visiting a place before more than once. Myself and wife Tanya were also married at the beautiful St. Pauls Bay, Lindos in 2013, making it an even more special place for us and our family.
Armed with a red hat, a GoPro and now a drone, I can often be seen walking the resort, capturing the beauty of Pefkos on video and uploading it to YouTube. I hope my video content has been useful to Friends of Pefkos and proves valuable to 1st time visitors. I’m an enthusiastic amateur and its great to have a space to share my love of the resort and all it has to offer.

I first came to Pefkos in 2015 and absolutely fell in love with it, haven’t been anywhere else since. I joined FOPs in 2016 and found it such a helpful community, no matter what question you ask there is always someone willing to help. I always travelled with friends so when the opportunity arose to travel on my own I was very dubious and nervous. I can honestly say I’ve never felt so safe and made so many friends whilst on my own I can personally recommend anyone considering travelling alone to do it, you won’t be disappointed.
